The Treaty Advancement Commission will consult with Elders across Victoria in 2019, as work continues to set up an Elders' voice within the Aboriginal Representative Body.
Specific dates and times will be announced once confirmed.
The Commission has released a report of the Elders Forum held in Melbourne in September.
More than 100 Aboriginal people attended the event, at the Pullman on the Park.
The Commission heard from Elders that it is crucial that their voice is embedded in the future Aboriginal Representative Body. This will enable Elders to take their rightful place in the treaty process.
Elders' wisdom can then empower all Aboriginal communities across Victoria.
Although the Commission heard the eagerness to get the process moving forward, Elders also made it clear that more discussions and conversations need to happen.
